Peacock Sports Pass has exclusive rights to two major NFL games.

Let’s start with the obvious. The College Football Playoffs (CFP) start on January 1 when the Rose & Sugar Bowls double as the National Semifinal games. First up, on New Year’s Day (4)Alabama takes on (1)Michigan in the Rose, followed by (3)Texas playing (2)Washington in the Sugar. The National Championship game is the following Monday and is a very helpful midweek boost for you all.

The remainder of the bowl schedule includes some other great and unusual matchups. Certainly, the Orange Bowl between two teams that are on the outside looking in at the CFP with Florida State taking on Georgia. Another interesting game is Oregon taking on undefeated Liberty in the Fiesta Bowl.

There are 42 bowl games over 13 separate days to feature in a promotion. A personal favorite is the simple pick ‘em card approach where guests pick the winners of all the games. It’s simple and fun. You can give bonuses for guests that watch the actual games rather than just complete their card only to ensure some traffic. No matter what you do, this is too much football to ignore. And since much of it is simple exhibition football, you must give your guests a reason to engage.

The goal is to make if fun and stay connected to guests during the holidays. Everyone is busy and football is a solid resource to leverage in keeping your restaurant on the minds of your best guests. Let us know what you do to promote the bowl schedule and maybe we’ll feature your restaurant in a post about your success. Have a great bowl season and we’ll see be rooting for you throughout.
